Sheila Bixler

FOUNDER

Sheila Bixler has been working in healthcare for 23 years, with 15 years specifically devoted to healthcare recruitment. Her knowledge and experience are critical to her clients, candidates, and colleagues, alike, especially with the transformation of healthcare delivery. Sheila began her career in Behavioral Health working in both inpatient and outpatient environments. In this arena, she developed her ability to connect and understand diverse populations, evaluate circumstances, and conduct needs assessments. She credits her success in healthcare recruitment to acquiring these skills.  

Sheila started her healthcare search career as a Sourcing and Marketing Specialist and quickly rose to a top-producing Search Consultant, Director of Recruitment, and Vice President of Client Services. This rise reflected her personal commitment to serving others and securing successful, long-term placements throughout the healthcare industry. 

Committed to continuous learning, Sheila regularly participates in leadership training, with specific focus on emotional intelligence, organizational culture, team-building, garnering employee accountability, and strength-finding. Sheila is an active member of the Missouri Medical Group Management Association and National Coalition of Healthcare Recruiters. 

When not at work, Sheila enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life…laughing, family dinners, socializing with friends, reading a book, and gazing at a full moon or stunning sunset. She has a new-found interest in gardening and volunteering in ways that give back to her community.

Heidi Johnson

FOUNDER

Heidi Johnson began her healthcare recruitment career after devoting over a decade to healthcare management for a large multispecialty medical group. This experience offered distinctive insight into the priorities, needs, and day-to-day concerns of medical providers, healthcare leaders, and patients.  

Her well-honed skills easily transitioned when she joined a national healthcare recruitment firm. Heidi’s healthcare industry functional knowledge and recruitment domain expertise quickly spurred her rise as the firm’s top-producing Search Consultant and she was promoted to the role of Director of Recruitment. Heidi’s ability to successfully manage a large and diverse portfolio reflects her relationship-building skills and strong work ethic.   

With more than 25 years of healthcare and recruitment experience, Heidi is keenly aware of the challenges encountered by organizations in a time of severe physician shortage and ever changing industry. Heidi is adept at understanding and evaluating organizational culture, resulting in customized, effective client recruitment initiatives. A strategic thinker and communicator, she enjoys building relationships through top-tier client service. Heidi is an active member of the Washington Medical Group Management Association and National Coalition of Healthcare Recruiters.  

In her free time, Heidi enjoys entertaining friends and family in her Pacific Northwest home, cooking, traveling internationally, and sailing with her husband.  She finds great personal reward by volunteering her time and resources to various breast cancer awareness and animal welfare organizations.
